SBPS is runed and managed by Sree Siddaganga Education Society(r).SBPS School has been able to deliver with a brilliant performance because of quality education backed by carefully chosen teachers, individual care and attention, confident of recreating similar standards of excellence in the domain of schools as well.
The admission will be available for Montessori to Grade IX based on the avilabale vacancies.For the classes (Nur to IV) we do not conduct any entrance exams. We do assessment to help understand the learning levels of the child so as to help the child from there onwards.
It's a policy at SBPS School that the strength of the class should not exceed 40 students per class so that the teacher - student ratio will be appropriate
We believe that the child will accumulate more if practical experience is given in the course of education. We fulfill this by taking them to field trips, doing role play, demonstration, experimenting in labs, collaborating, grouping them in preferred leaning styles, and follows a 5 step methodology (Aim, Activity, Application, Analyze, Assess) in teaching a concept.
SBPS considers extracurricular activities as an essential ingredient of its curriculum. We have volleyball, football, Athletics and cricket in our school as outdoor games. We also have art & craft, gymnastics, Karate, indoor sports, music (Indian, Western and instrumental) and dance (different styles). Children practice these under the supervision of trained and qualified trainers.
PTM’s happen after every summative assessments. However, Parents have the option to meet teachers any weekday (Mon – Fri) between 3.30 PM to 4.30 PM during school premises.
We have 5 Buses covering all the areas of Tumkur, Dobbespet and nearby villages. We don’t have a door pick up facility. However, we do our best to provide a stop as close to your home as possible. Please call our transport department @ 7996824511 for any queries.
The school will re-open on the Third Monday of May every year. The academic year continues up to April in the subsequent year. There will be mid-tem vacation of about 3-4 weeks during Vijayadashmi. The academic year will conclude in the month of April
Nursery – 9 AM to 12.30 PM LKG, UKG, Grade 1 to Grade 10 – 9 AM to 4.30 PM Office Timings :10.00.a.m. to 4.30p.m.
Application forms can be either downloaded from the website or picked up from corporate office or school campus. Filled in application forms with registration fees and photocopy of the report card of the previous grade to be submitted for the registration.
We follow Private publisher books for Primary and NCERT books for Secondary. We have regular uniform as well as sports uniform.We keep a stock of Books and uniforms in the school that is given immediately to students on their joining day of school or after confirmation of admission.
All teachers are trained to deal with weak/slow learners in the classroom. In certain situations and circumstances they are given additional counseling and sometimes even remedial classes are conducted.
